Wind Phone at the
Vashon Cemetery
At the October meeting the District approved Resolution 269 authorizing the building of a wind phone on Cemetery property.
A Vashon Wind Phone would provide a dedicated public space where grief is welcomed and acknowledged. Whether someone is facing a recent loss, marking an anniversary, navigating the holidays, or simply missing someone they love, the wind phone can offer a moment of reflection and comfort.
The Wind Phone will be free and accessible to everyone, regardless of age, faith tradition, culture, or background.
